Make it

My daughter, Kenna Joy, came into this world as the spice we didn't know was missing. She is the youngest of four children. At the tender age of 15 months, Kenna Joy was diagnosed with stage 4 extra gonadal germ cell tumor. With a regimented treatment plan, God allowed Kenna Joy to go into chemical remission in four months later. We laughed and celebrated and saw the gift of living life now. Approximately 18 months later she relapsed with a chemo -induced cancer, AML. There was an arduous treatment plan. God worked through a faabulous healthcare team of doctors and nurses and community support to bring her to remission- a miracle that had not happened in the medical world at that young age of 3.

Kenna Joy's Story

Our daughter, Kenna Joy, came into our lives as the spice we never knew was missing. The youngest of four, she brought a unique spark—full of life, laughter, and joy.

At just 15 months old, our world shifted. Kenna was diagnosed with stage 4 extragonadal germ cell tumor—a rare and aggressive cancer. The words were heavy. The path ahead, uncertain. But through a rigorous treatment plan and the grace of God, Kenna entered chemical remission just four months later. We breathed again. We celebrated. We learned to treasure the beauty of now.

Eighteen months later, our hearts broke once more. Kenna relapsed—not with the original cancer, but with AML, a secondary leukemia caused by her earlier chemotherapy. It was a devastating blow, a chemo-induced cancer in a child so small. What followed was an intense and painful battle—an arduous treatment journey that tested every ounce of faith and endurance we had.

But through it all, we were not alone. God moved in powerful ways—through an extraordinary team of doctors and nurses, through the love of our community, and through countless prayers. Against all medical odds, Kenna Joy went into remission again at just 3 years old—a miracle the medical world hadn’t seen at her age.

Her story is one of resilience, faith, and the power of love.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world.
